Infographic

Hello!

This week we were assigned to make an infographic about an article from the PEW webpage.  When I was creating the infographic, I was expecting it to be similar to a PowerPoint slide. In the fact that it was easy to manipulate, instead it was a tedious to delete items or to alter the font size.

Here is the infographic for the article titled Teens and Technology 2013.  When reading the article I was shocked to see how many teens use their cellphones as their main source to access the internet, instead of a computer or laptop.

  1. Nice work on the Infographic! I too was amazed at how technology has changed to much these past few years. Our cell phones are like mini computers that we carry along wherever we go. I work at an elementary and have seen a couple of my 3rd graders with cell phones! I believe they are too young at that age but I guess we all think differently. Having a cell phone has its advantages and disadvantages. I really like how we can locate a place or instantly "google" something on a cell phone. Unfortunately, they are also addictive! The other day my family and I had dinner at a restaurant and I could not believe how we were all browsing through our phones instead of conversing with each other. I had to tell everyone to put their phones down! LOL Let's see what technology has in place for us in the near future!
